Finn van der Velde
Director
Finn did a BSc in AI, started an MSc in Computer Science but dropped out to help organize anti-AI protests in San Francisco. He later co-founded Together Against AI, of which he is currently the director.
Denys Sheremet
Co-founder
Denys dropped out of a masters program in AI, helped with protests in San Francisco and later left to co-found TAAI. He did a hunger strike in front of Google Deepmind’s London AI office in 2025. He is partnerships manager for TAAI.
Niels
AISC Fellow
Niels has a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Bremen. During his post-doc he decided to leave academia to help reduce the harms from current and future AI systems. He leads community outreach for TAAI.
Our Mission
Everybody is worried about AI. Artists, parents, politicians, scientists, employees, and even the people building AI. All for their own reasons.
But while the groups campaigning against the harms of AI are all fighting the same fight, they are currently all fighting on their own. We bring our side together so that we can make waves.
Our goal is to organize people and help them connect, to make meaningful change possible.
